    1897 color map Central Asia
    8x10
    This is a color map titled: “Central Asia.” The map measures about
    8 1/4 by 10 ½
    inches and is on an about 9 ¾
    by 12 inch sheet, which is folded to about 6 by 9 ¾
    inch. A narrow mounting strip is glued to the blank back of the map along the fold line through the center of the map.
    This is an original color map from 1897. The map has been removed, by cutting the mounting strip, from: “The International Cyclopaedia. 15 Volumes. Vol. XIV. New York: Dodd, Mead & Company, 1897.”
    The map is in very good shape. There is a small spot in a margin. See the image of the map for condition. The attached image of the map shows about 90 per cent of the map as it is larger than my scanner bed.
