What Diane Likes About This Skirt
The Alice of California label is interesting. It was started by a Norwegian immigrant who came to this country with nothing and built the company from the ground up. It is interesting that in later years the company is known for its exotic Polynesian prints. This skirt is earlier, 1950s and it has a charming folk print which I like very much. It can go with several different color schemes. Quilted skirts have a sort of sculptural quality to them due to the thickness of the quilted fabric.

what you want to express by the way you dress and the way to live." —Gianni Versace
