  • Condition: The trilobite is approximately 1.5" long when measured uncurled, and the fossil is approximately 0.75" by 0.75". A portion of the tail end of the trilobite is broken off as shown, but the fossil is otherwise intact - please see photos. Most of the original matrix is gone - there are a few remnants in the low points of the joints and on the underside.

    Description

    The trilobite is approximately 1.5" long when measured uncurled, and the fossil is approximately 0.75" by 0.75".  A portion of the tail end of the trilobite is broken off as shown, but the fossil is otherwise intact - please see photos.  Most of the original matrix is gone - there are a few remnants in the low points of the joints and on the underside.
    This fossil was gathered from a quarry in Sylvania, Ohio.
