Authentic Vintage 1950s Homemade Metallic Gray Taffeta Skirt w/ Crinoline Size S

This darling, authentic vintage 1950s gray and metallic striped swishy taffeta skirt features gold metallic threads and an elastic waist. There is a partial ruffled, layered crinoline sewn on the inside attached six inches from the hem. One portion of the crinoline has more layers than the other, as shown. Get ready to go to the hop in this adorable homemade skirt, which came in a lot of estate clothing from the 40s and 50s. No size indicated because this is homemade, but measurements are as follows with the skirt laid flat and measuring across:
Waist: 16" (stretched), 11" (unstretched)
Hips: 23"
Length: 28"
Flaws: This item is authentic vintage. Therefore it does not look "brand new." It is in what I would classify as solid wearable vintage condition. There are some small holes along the waistline beneath the elastic in various places. An example of this is shown in the photos. As previously mentioned, the partial crinoline has uneven layers, as shown. There is some slight age-related oxidation discoloration on the elastic at the waist. This is a truly beautiful, impressive, wearable vintage piece.

Length: middle of back of collar to bottom of garment, or middle of top of waist to bottom of skirt. Waist: edge to edge with item laid flat. Sleeve: top of shoulder seam to bottom of wrist.  Please note measurements depend on how much one spreads the garment and therefore they are approximate to what I think is a reasonable amount of spread while measuring. As this item is pre-owned, please note that it may show signs of wear. Visual inspection reveals no major flaws such as large rips, stains or tears. As I state on all pre-owned items: "wear" may include things like small, slightly worn areas, small holes, loose stitching, minor markings or areas of discoloration, buttons that need stitching reinforcement, or small loose threads here and there. That being said, this item is in expected vintage condition with expected wear for its age.
