DRAGON CHOPSTICK PRINT VINTAGE 1950’S COTTON ALFRED SHAHEEN DRESS  HONOLULU
DATING TO THE 1950’S.  THIS DRESS IS BY ALFRED SHAHEEN, LABELED ON THE INNER SEAM.
FASHIONED OF RED COTTON WITH AN UNUSUAL DRAGON RICE BOWL AND CHOPSTICK CROSSING PRINT WITH PORTIONS OF THE PRINT IN METALLIC GOLD.
SHOULDER STRAPS ARE SET WIDE AND AND ANGLE ACROSS THE BACK.  PIPE SEAM AT THE WAISTLINE WITH A FULL CUP SKIRTING.  METAL ZIPPER CLOSES THE REAR.
CONDITION
:  ESTATE FRESH AND SOLD AS IT WAS FOUND, I HAVE NOT CLEANED THIS PIECE.  A SMALL SPOT OF AGE IS ON ONE OF THE RICE BOWLS ON THE BOTTOM EDGE HEM AND THERE IS A SMALL SMUDGE OF THE METALLIC ON THE BOTTOM LEFT SIDE JUST ASIDE THE CHOPSTICKS.  THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL 5 1/2 INCHES BENEATH THE HEM THAT COULD BE USED TO INCREASE THE SIZE OF THE DRESS.
