Drippy 3 1/2-Inch Long Art Deco Era Silver & Gold Fringe Earrings Paste & Pearls
These high-style early Art Deco earrings are both jazzy and elegant, each a drippy combination of fine silver chain dotted with pearls and mottled green art glass cylinders, sterling silver fleur-de-lis tops with single-cut paste stones, oval black glass hoops covered in silver rings and 14k yellow gold screw-back findings. The two outside of the four fringe strands are identical in composition and length, and one of the inner strands, the longest of the four, has two green cylinders along with pearls and the other, the second longest, has only pearls. This showy arrangement is both visually striking and very lively due to the weighty components arrayed along such fine chain. The tops add glitter and light to the presentation in sharp contrast to the black ovals, and the overall character is conspicuous but refined. In excellent condition, marked "Sterling" on the backs and "14k" on the screw-backs, the earrings measure 3 1/2-inches long, 5/8-inches wide and weigh a combined 9.5 grams.
