ELRATHIA AND PERONOPSIS TRILOBITE FOSSIL MULTIPLE SPECIMEN #3

Description

This is a rare listing.  The specimen has two different species of trilobite on this. This specimen has 1  complete Elrathia  and one complete Peronopsis.    This specimen comes from the red beds so it is brownish red on a tan shale.  The Elrathia is 1/2 inch  and the Peronopsis  is 2/8  inches.       The entire specimen is 2 1/2 by  1 1/4 inches.  It comes from the Middle Cambrian period. This item comes from Millard County Utah. The trilobite was one of the most abundant life forms of the Cambrian period, dating back over 500 million years. Trilobite's were ocean floor dwelling arthropods.
