This is a very interesting Lower Cambrian Paedumias transitans trilobite from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This striking specimen was found when a house foundation was being built in the 1980's, less than a mile from the Fruitville Quarry! The classic trilobite is complete and has very nice detail preserved. But the most unusual feature of this trilobite is its size - this specimen is well over THREE INCHES LONG! The sleek bug is beautifully showcased on the silvery-grey block of Kinzers Shale. This is a very cool Paedumias transitans trilobite from a once-and-done site in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
