The primitive echinoderm is very detailed - the different sizes, shapes, and structures of the plates are easily seen (see photos). The distinct fossil is beautifully showcased on the semi-squared plate of Kinzers Shale. This is a collectible example of this very strange and historic fossil echinoderm from the Lower Cambrian of Pennsylvania. (There are actually TWO Lepidocystis on the plate, a smaller one is sitting right above the larger one in the first photo.)
