This is a very interesting fossil. This is a striking split pair organism from the Lower Cambrian of Nevada. Fossils similar to this have been found in the famous Burgess Shale! This unusual specimen was found in a single zone and nowhere else in the formation, as far as we know. This distinct fossil is well preserved and exhibits very fine detail. The conical shape of the organism is beautifully displayed, and the structure detail is even intact and easily seen. The fossil invertebrate has great natural color and contrast and is well showcased on both semi-squared plates of shale
! This is a very rare and collectible split pair fossil of this delicate Lower Cambrian animal.
