I found a flat in storage marked "Trilobites - Tucson '95" which contained a handful of trilobites from Argentina. I will be auctioning them off over the next few weeks.
This is an unusual pair of trilobites from South America. These are Parabolina argentina from the Ordovician of Argentina. These tiny trilobites are very inflated, nicely articulated, and extremely detailed. The distinct bugs have nice natural color and contrast and are beautifully showcased on the natural block of shale that also has a large graptolite preserved! This is a very cool double example of this uncommon South American trilobite.
Note: Argentina has now banned the export of all fossils. We will strictly abide by and enforce this law - we will not acquire new fossils from Argentina. However, this fossil was collected and exported well prior to this law, and can be sold legally.
