A very nice example of Rusophycous (sub surface) Trilobite Tracks
On the surface are small tracks left by a young Eurypterid and if you look closely at the surface,
the high ridge of the mud appears flattened leading to the jumble of tracks at one end.
Sea Scoprions moved around at times skidding on their belly, Trilobites would go sub surface to avoid Sea Scorpions.
This is an example of that.
Comes in a felt-lined acrylic case 4" x 6"
Found in Perry County Indiana near the Ohio River.
All Pieces are in their natural state as found.
