On the surface we have a nice tangle of worm tracks with Sea Scorpion Eurypterid tracks evident in a predatory overwatch from both ends.
Nearly 6 inch shrimp track across the bottom edge.
The subsurface is nearly covered in Trilobite rusophycus tracks hoping to escape becoming victim of the Eurypterid menacing the surface community.
This small slab was once a very busy spot.
Size 9" wide by 6 1/2" tall, weight 3+ pounds
Fossils found near the Ohio River in Southern Indiana.
Found in natural state, we only washed the dirt off of them.
We think was from the Mississippian in age, from the Tar Springs Formation, over 300 million years old.
