Ichnofossil Trilobite Tracks Over Trilobite Resting Spot 240510
A light somewhat washed out Trilobite trackway crosses this specimen,
along with several very light marks below the trackway near the center that are Sea Scorpion (Eurypterid) footprints.
Underside is very nice example of a trilobite resting spot.
Comes in a felt lined 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" display.
Fossils found near the Ohio River in Southern Indiana.
Found in natural state, we only washed the dirt off of them.
We don't know the time frame when the Ocean was at our front door. But it's really cool to think about.
