Ichnofossil Worm Tracks Specimen 240440
A nearly 10 inch worm track from a larger worm crosses the high ground of this example, has random sub surface activity.
Size approx. 8" x 6" measured at the tallest and widest points.
Wt. Around 2 1/2 lbs
Fossils found near the Ohio River in Southern Indiana.
Found in natural state, we only washed the dirt off of them.
We don't know the time frame when the Ocean was at our front door. But it's really cool to think about.
