Incredible antique deep red Edwardian 1908 skirt!

Incredible antique deep red Edwardian Victorian skirt! This babe is from a lovely Hungarian grandmother. It had a note attached which has sadly been misplaced now,, but it said that this skirt was made in 1908 by the grandmother! It is possible that it was shortened in the 50s and the colorful stitching was added but this could just be the normal length as the family was incredibly petite. It has some really beautiful colorful stitching on the bottom of the skirt as well as some great black ribbon detailing. It is fraying on one side. The middle of the skirt had some staining as well, have not tried to wash. It's in great condition and very sturdy. The back and sides of the skirt is very very full! It ties at the back of the skirt. The front of the skirt is a flatter and lacks the black ribbon detailing. The burgundy skirt really pops against the red bias tape on the inside of the skirt. Really incredible and collectible piece. 30 inch waist.
