Juvenile Isotelus Trilobite Fossil w/ Genal Spines!! - Bobcaygeon Fm, Canada.
This lot includes one exceptional, perfectly complete Isotelus sp. (gigas?) from the Upper Ordovician of Ottawa, Canada. 🇨🇦
The fossil is exactly 6cm, not too small for an immature Isotelus.
The matrix is 6 in x 5 in, and is littered with brachiopods.
This specimen has some of its fragile shell still preserved around the outer rim of the exoskeleton, and has been expertly prepared and outlined to enhance the contrast of the fossil. However, this fossil has zero restoration or disingenuous enhancement.
