    Description

    Panzer I Early / Late / Winter - Workable Resin TRACKS - 1:35
This listing is for a set of workable track links for a 1/35 scale Panzer 1 or
    variant
.  According to my research, each track was originally around 100 links in length, so you need approximately 200 links to complete the tank, but some kits may need a few more or less, and you may want one or two extra to add more 'sag' to your model.  Since they are resin, and tiny, they are also a bit brittle and can break if they get stepped on or handled roughly, so I include roughly 140 - 160 links for each side so that you have plenty to play with, use as spares on the model, terrain scatter, etc.
    I also include enough 28
    gauge
wire to assemble your tracks.  All you need is cutters to cut the wire, though tweezers or small needle nosed
    plyers
are also helpful, and while they are printed with the pin holes in place there may be an occasional one that needs to be drilled out, but since I include so many extra you could probably just set them aside for your spares on the tank.
    Like all resin parts,
plastic model cement won't work on them, so
you need to use CA glue (super glue) to attach them to the tank or plastic
    components
.  While they are 'workable', I don't think they would be well suited for an RC use case, they would probably be too brittle, but for a static
    display
model they are great and highly detailed.  I modeled them off of photos from tank
    museums
, so they are quite accurate and have the traction chevrons, as well as the hollow guide horns usually found on these tanks.
The drive sprocket in the picture is from a Dragon kit, but if the kit you are building is accurate they should fit fine, I will also add photos of other sprockets as I acquire them to test with
    .
Assembly is much like metal track links, I think easier because these usually don't require any drilling like most of the metal offerings on the market do.  I will be
    putting
a video on YouTube with the installations soon, so I will put a link to it as soon as it is done.
Special thanks to my friend Kai, better known as "Tankbrusher" on YouTube, who designed these and other tracks and has allowed me to sell prints of them.  If you are a Patreon supporter of Kai's then contact him for a discount code on these tracks or any of his designs that I sale!
No models or tools are included, just the track links and 28 gauge wire.  If you have any questions please ask before ordering!
The item you receive will be unpainted and in it's native resin, it will need to be cleaned up like any model as they will probably have support marks.  I include my painted photos as they bring out the detail in the print that is hard to notice when looking at the resin photos.
If you desire a different scale / size it is very easy for me to modify them and print what you need, so just send me a message via eBay.
Note regarding resin color, in an attempt to keep my cost and price as low as possible I don’t always use grey resin.  Sometimes it is not available due to supply and demand, and sometimes it is significantly higher priced so that I would need to adjust my costs up and down, and I really don’t want to have to be doing that, so from time to time items are printed in a different color, or a translucent resin.  Tracks are almost always printed in a translucent resin because it makes it easier to see when the pin is fully inserted.  However, even the most clear of resins accepts primer very well, and as soon as your first coat is on the item the details will become visible and the item will no longer be transparent.
Also, sometimes when I remove the items from the build plate, or separate prints from each other it causes the mounting plate to break.  If I ever see that the item itself is damaged then I chuck it into the seconds bin and give them away for free, but if the item itself is still in good condition and just the mounting plate has been damaged then I still send them.  If I didn’t do this then I would have to increase my cost by at least 50% to account for all the waste.
If you have any questions about any of my information or prints please let me know.  If you really want your print in one color or another for some reason feel free to message me and see what I have available.
I am not promising that these are exactly to scale with a specific item you may have in the garage, or that every detail is in the exactly correct spot, so please look at the photos for actual examples of objects as they are.  If you want extreme attention to detail then you probably ought to buy the .00 kits and save us both a headache.  But if you are a fine scale modeler or history enthusiast and you want to support a fellow hobbyist, then these items will save you money and help me keep my wife happy!  ;  ]
I have designed several items and tools, and continue to build new ones as I work on new projects, so check back in as I list the rest of them too
.  If you are interested in pre primed or painted options let me know and we can see if we can
    commission
    something.
Thanks for looking, have a great day!
