    Description

    Historical Negros Occidental Province Emergency FIVE PESOS, 1942. The Note is identidi=fied as P# S 648, and is of the so called variant a, with Serial number from 1 to 200,000.
    The Face features Quezon right on the Left, and the stamp from the Commonwealth of the Philippines, United States of America on the Right. The Lettering reads:
    FIVE PESOS / EMERGENCY CIRCULATING NOTE OF 1942 / ISSUED BY AUTHORITY OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES ON JANUARY 20, 1942 /
    THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE PHILIPPINES /
    WILL PAY THE BEARER ON DEMAND /
    FIVE PESOS /
    IN LAWFUL CURRENCY OF THE PHILIPPINES /
