Rare 7cm X 3cm Palaeopascichnus delicatus 'ribbon animal': Vendian Ukraine

Description

Offered is a well preserved and clear example of the enigmatic Vendian organism
Palaeopascichnus delicatus
or 'ribbon animal', from the Vendian, Lomoziv Beds of the Mohylev Formation; Redkin Horizon of Novodneistrovsky Quarry, Bernashivika, Vinnytsia-oblast, Ukraine.
This cluster of typical ovate and apparently cojoined body fossils is unusual; two linear and perpendicular colonies are essentially complete, the largest is 5cm, and a number of smaller ovate bodies are preserved on the matrix too.
Of unknown affinity, similar organisms are known also from USA (Wisconsin)
