    RARE OOP H.A.M. Miniatures SS-6 54mm SS Elite Guard - 1939 (Officer)
    Rare OOP
    This auction is for one open 54mm miniature as shown. I acquired this fellow back, I think, in the late 1960s, cleaned the figure for painting, put him away, and forgot all about him. This fellow's standing at ease, holding his hat under his left arm with his gloves in his right hand. My subject-matter tastes have changed so here he is. He consists of five pieces including (see pictures) a torso, two separate arms, a separate saucer hat, and a sheet metal base. As you can see in the pictures (but espeically in the final picture) he's had some of his seams scraped. I truly don't recall what I used to scrape them, but the pictures are pretty clear. The 2nd picture shows the back of the package with the coloring guide. The pacage is in good condition beyond the presence of a price sticker on the top and some badly yellowed tape remnants which originally sealed it. He's lived his entire long life in a smoke-free environment; paint him!
