This auction is for a single open 54mm miniature as shown. I purchased this sometime around 1970 opened it, and as I was traveling, discarded the box, storing everything in a zipper-lock bag except the base (too bulky) so I wouldn't lose any parts. I stored it, meaning to get back to it, which of course I never did. My subject-matter tastes have changed so here it is. The model consists of three pieces including a torso, with left and right arms (one holding an M-16) separate. The instruction folder provides a pretty good primer on painting miniatures, some history, and recommended colors. It's got some warping from being in the bag with the figure forever and has a bit of a brown stain (3rd picture) from, I think, some Tab (this
    was
around 1970...) In addition to the original box, the black plastic display base is missing, too. Like most of the old Monogram Merite figures, he's a solid, workmanlike fellow who will take paint well, and which will look good when finished. He has lived his entire long life in a smoke-free environment. Paint him!
