Silurian Fossil Crinoid Periechocrinus with maurotarion trilobite Waldron Shale

Description

Offered here is a spectacular large Periechocrinus sp from the Waldron shale of Waldron, Indiana. This robust specimen is inflated and measures in at 2 inches (5cm) long. The plates are all clearly visible on the specimen. There also appears to be a small maurotarion trilobite on the plate. It is hard to say of the maurotarion is complete as the head if present is tucked under the specimen.
