Very cool unknown species of spiny
Leonaspis
with a well-developed occipital spine, visibly related to the
Leonaspis prescheri
from the couche rouge of Jbel Issoumour. It is yet to be described. The fossil was coated in a protective lacquer but is completely real. Let the details on our close-up photos speak for themselves!
