    Description

    Paralejurus hamlagdadicus
is a Middle Devonian trilobite from near Foum Zguid, a town in  south eastern Morocco.
The fossil measures 2.75 inches long (if flattened- it is in a defensive postion) and 1.11 inches wide. The entire specimen, trilobite and matrix, measures 3.22 inches long, 1.77 inches wide and 2.1 inches high. Extremely well-preserved holochroal lenses are present in both eyes.
The trilobite has been repaired on the pygidium. In the trilobite -collecting world this is not a detriment. Trilobites are found by smashing open rocks and the specimens often get broken as a result. It is rare to find an entire, unbroken trilobite. And if one is found, they usually are sold for a premium amount. Many sellers do not disclose that their fossils have been repaired as the repair is often very well done, and virtually undetectable. I believe in full disclosure.
All of my fossils are guaranteed authentic and have been legally obtained.
