Trilobite Fossil, Paralejurus hamlagdadicus, from Morocco #2

Paralejurus hamlagdadicus
is a Middle Devonian trilobite from Jbel Ofaten, near Alnif, in Morocco.
The fossil measures 2.22 inches long and 1.22 inches wide. The entire specimen, trilobite and matrix, measures 3.87 inches long, 3.0 inches wide and 1.45inches high. Well-preserved holochroal lenses are present in the left eye.
The trilobite has been repaired across the top of the thorax. In the trilobite -collecting world this is not a detriment. Trilobites are found by smashing open rocks and the specimens often get broken as a result. It is rare to find an entire, unbroken trilobite. And if one is found, they usually are sold for a premium amount. Many sellers do not disclose that their fossils have been repaired as the repair is often very well done, and virtually undetectable. I believe in full disclosure.
