Offered here is a screamingly rare, beautifully prepared Ceraurus milleranus trilobite from the Fairview Formation of Bracken County, Kentucky, Ordovician in age. The trilobite measures about 1 1/2” long around the curve and has the finest of detail preserved. It was meticulously prepared by Jerry Rush years ago. Nothing of this quality from that area has been found in 25 years or so. The matrix measures 3 1/2” x 2 3/4”. This beautiful piece was purchased from a private collector about 8 years ago. This is one of those trilobites you’ll never have to upgrade. Simply put, this is the finest Ceraurus from the Ohio Valley ever found. If you have purchased multiple items, please do not send payment until I send an invoice.
