Hello, here is a VERY rare and 100% natural Modocia Typicalis Trilobite fossil in its Marjum Shale Formation matrix! It is from Millard County Utah, House Range.
This "rock" was a living animal during the Cambrian Era a CRAZY! 505 million years ago!
The Trilobite measures around 1.55cm or 5/8" and the overall piece or matrix is 12.8cm or 5 1/8" at its biggest! This trilobite did come out of the Earth with around 1/32" of the right genal spine separate from the fossil, it was glued back on.
