    A very detailed coral colony full of epibionts!
    The three
    Heliophyllum confluens I have up for auction are the only specimens available on the internet
    . Each coral colony was collected and prepared by Gerald Kloc of Rochester New York. Jerry found this specimen during the construction of interstate 390 during the mid 1980s. This is a mini prehistoric reef with all the preserved animals that 380 million years ago lived on it. They include Bryozoa, Crinoid holdfast, and Cornulites tubeworms.
