VICTORIAN 1890’S LILAC FLORAL PRINT SILK BUSTLE SKIRT W RUFFLES
DATING TO THE 1890’S
FASHIONED OF A THIN BLACK SILK DE CHINE WHICH HAS STEMS OF LILAC PRINTED FULLY THROUGHOUT.  THE BOTTOM IS IN THREE ROWS OF RUFFLING, FULLY LINED IN BROWN POLISHED COTTON WITH HAND STITCHED VELVET BINDING ON THE BOTTOM INNER HEM.
HOOK AND EYE CLOSE THE REAR.
CONDITION
:  THE POLISHED COTTON WAISTBAND HAS SPLITTING FULLY AROUND AND IS IN NEED OF REPLACEMENT.  THERE ARE SIX PINHEAD HOLES THAT MUST BE HUNTED FOR.  THERE IS A 1 X 1 L SHAPED TEAR ATOP ONE OF THE FLORALS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE REAR CLOSURE WITH TWO OTHER SMALL HOLES IN NEED OF A STITCHED MEND TWO INCHES BENEATH THE WAISTBAND, ONE OF WHICH ON ONE FLORAL LEAF SHOWS SMALL ABSENCES.
STRONG AND FULLY WEARABLE, ONCE THE WAISTBAND IS REPLACED.
