VINTAGE 1970s Black Pleated Wool Skirt. Brand is MICMAC St. Tropez from France. This brand was launched by Gunter Sachs and Brigitte Bardot in the 1960s! The skirt is 100% wool and midi length with one pocket. It closes with two buttons and has an open fly that is covered by pleats, though may want to wear a slip or other under clothing. Great for a school uniform or school-girl look!
Fits like a ladies SMALL- go by measurements:
Waist: 26"
Hips: open
Length: 28"
My measurements are 5'5" tall and 34/28/38. Skirt is too tight on my waist... I could barely get it buttoned (sucking in my stomach) - see last picture(s).
Skirt is in great condition, but has a couple of issues to note. Read below and see all pictures.
Has a bit of iron sheen on front. Worst spot is below waistband. I lightened the photo to see it better, but it's not as noticeable in person.
One small moth nibble/hole on back of skirt.
A light marking on back of skirt, but its difficult to see.
