  • Condition: The head of the red pony does need to be glued or stitched to the skirt. One of the wheel spokes has torn and just needs to be re-adhered to the skirt and you won't notice the split. It should be a simple fix. The zipper works great and there are no other holes, loose seams or stains. You'll love it!

    Vintage 50s Black Wool Felt Circle Skirt Poodle Skirt Style Horses Swing sz 10/12
    This cute circle skirt is made from wool felt. Similar to a traditional poodle skirt, this skirt features a horse drawn carriage.
    It has an A-line cut and fastens with a vintage Serval metal zipper on the side of the skirt and has two hooks on the waistband with two options for width. One side of the skirt has a gusset sewn into it.
    The skirt looks great overall with no stains, holes or loose seams. There are a couple of spots where the horse and carriage appliqué needs to be readhered to the skirt. The head of the red horse needs to be glued down and one of the spokes of the carriage has split and now needs to be glued down. Once done, it should look perfect.
    *Note that the first two photos are of the skirt with one of our petticoats underneath (peeking out a bit) so we can show its fullness but the petticoat is not included.
    This skirt was custom made so it doesn't have a label. Measurements are consistent with a contemporary size 10/12. Because every figure is different, please...
