    Description

    It is with a heavy heart that I list this very lovely full circle tiered cotton Laura Ashley skirt, which was part of my wedding trousseau.  I finally have to admit that the waist will never again fit, despite already having it (expertly, see 5th picture) professionally taken out years back. Please refer to the dimensions listed above.  It is time for someone else to treasure this skirt as I have.  It has been lovingly cared for, and it is in pristine condition.
    The 2nd picture shows me wearing the skirt, outside our wedding venue.  The colors are most accurately represented in the close up pictures.
    A dear old friend used to joke that if we had a baby girl, that we would name her Laura or Ashley after Laura Ashley.  Indeed, our bridesmaids and flower girls all wore dresses from the last Laura Ashley wedding collection, and our ushers had bow ties and cummerbunds custom made from Laura fabric.  I mourned the closing of all Laura Ashley retail stores in the USA...
